The Linea is Scarab's classic road bike, available with rim brakes and mechanical groupset only. The frameset utilizes PegoRichie tubing attached by Richard Sachs lugs with an optional Pegoretti Falz carbon or custom steel fork. Tire clearance is rated at 28mm.
The Linea takes its name from the lineage of Colombian climbers, a bike forged by the ragged topography of the Vuelta a Colombia, a classic that, since its inception in 1951, came to unite a country divided by its terrain and internal conflicts.
The legendary 'beetles' of Colombia, like Lucho Herrera, would amaze spectators in the European races, but it's in the Colombian Andes and mountain passes like the Alto de la Linea where they were made. A line of heroes, a line of mountains, the LINEA is a tribute to the legendary cyclists and bicycles from this era.
